The Laboratory operates with a technical – scientific scope in the field of polymers and in particular deals with:

	releasing of test reports (certifications) according to national, international and ECC standards, through technical testing carried out according to approved national, international and ECC standards, related to materials, products, components, goods of polymeric or elastomeric nature;
	continuation of relations and laying down of recognitions with the same structures constituted in Italy and in other countries, in particular those pertaining to ECC;
	collaboration in the national and international field for the elaboration of sector technical standards;
	partecipation in organization of updated professional courses, seminaries and sector congresses;
	carrying out research programs for technical and scientific progress in Italian elastomeric manufacturing industries;

The Laboratory is a non profit – making association, but operates observing economic criteria.

LOCATION

CERISIE is located in a modern Industrial building covering an area of 2700 square meters.
The building is a large covered space taken up for 1050 square meters by machinery and test equipment and for 190 square meters by offices. These include the manager's office, the secretary's and researcher's office, the library and board room.

AIRIEL was founded with the aim of improving technical and scientific progress in Italian elastomer manufacturing companies.

Are Members of AIRIEL : Manufacturers of rubber goods, firms producing or supplying materials used in the rubber industry (natural and synthetic rubbers, carbon blacks, chemicals), builders of machinery and plants for rubber processing, users of rubber goods and all those related to the rubber sector.

ASSOGOMMA is Member of the Italian Industrial Association ( CONFINDUSTRIA ) and its associated firms are members of the Confederal System. It represents the sector as far as Governement Authorities, Public Administrations and Unions are concerned. It provides information, assistance, and consultancy for its members.
